Pork with wine and honey or petimezi (grape syrup)

Instructions

  • Pour olive oil in a deep-frying pan to medium-high heat. 
  • When heated, put the pork chopped into small pieces and cook it for 3-4 min. 
  • Pour wine and vinegar. 
  • Add garlic and fry for 3 more min. 
  • Lower the heat and add honey, thyme and oregano. 
  • Stir pork well and at regular intervals. 
  • Fry food for 14-15 more min. until the sauce has been fully caramelized. 
  • 5 min. before it is ready, add pitted plums. 
  • Serve with thyme and mint.

50 g plums
1 bunch fresh oregano
